Pie OS: From $10m to $350m in 5 Years
Over the span of five years, I led the design of Pie OS, Pie Insurance’s proprietary insurance policy lifecycle system. This foundational effort scaled the company’s operations from $10 million to over $350 million in total written premium, while ensuring Pie retained full control over its technology and processes.
From Pixel Pushers to Strategic Growth Influencers.
By embedding user-centric design principles into every layer of product development, I shifted the design team from delivering outputs to generating outcomes, fundamentally redefining the team’s role within the organization.

I am a Social 5 on the Enneagram—an investigative specialist driven by curiosity, creativity, and innovation. With 15 years in creative professions, including the last 5 years scaling Pie Insurance from Series B to pre-IPO, I excel at strategic design and leadership. I have worked across fintech, insurtech, and healthcare industries, leveraging my expertise to tackle complex challenges, build scalable systems, and lead high-performing teams. My passion for creating impactful solutions is guided by non-linear design thinking methodologies and a commitment to user feedback and data-driven decision-making.
Off the clock, I’m an avid golfer, snowboarder, and passionate traveler. My summers are spent golfing through the stunning rock formations at Arrowhead Golf Course, while winters take me deep into the Kootenay Mountains, far from the pains of I-70 traffic. In the in-between, I travel the world seeking out adventure and new experiences. From hiking the rugged trails of Patagonia to bungee jumping off New Zealand’s famed Kawarau Bridge to diving with sharks in Belize, these experiences have broadened my perspective, sharpened my adaptability, and given me the unique ability to connect with people from all walks of life, building meaningful relationships wherever I go.
